Wedding number two...

While in Kansas my family and some wonderful friends put together a quick small ceremony for us. We were able to have an actual religious ceremony and have some of my closest family and friends there. It was an absolutely perfect second ceremony :)

Pictures were taken by awesome family and friends

A small portion of the beautiful glass we collected

The younger guests found means of entertainment...the kitty was pretty happy too

I think that everybody needs a u-haul at their wedding... ;-)

That is such a PETER expression!!

And we're married!!...again!!

Dissecting the cake :)

Thus begins the assault...

...yes, that was birdseed in my face...

...and bird seed in my dress...

And that would be one of the culprits...all I have to say is that she had better watch out in a few years at her wedding ;-)

We stole a few moments for our dance...

I don't know who was more entertained... :-P

First leg of our trip...

After we got married on Friday we spent Saturday packing the truck. God has been awesome throughout this entire life change. On Saturday Peter went to pick up the truck, we had reserved a small truck with a dolly for his car. When he got there he was told that there had been a mistake...and they had upgraded our truck. They gave us a much bigger truck and a trailer for his car as opposed to the dolly. As much as we grew to hate the truck over the next 1000 miles, we realized that we actually did need the bigger truck. We are so very grateful that God knew what we needed before we even knew what we needed. He had it all figured out for us. Which is a very good thing...seeing as we left with a very small amount of money considering that we had to be able to establish a home in a few very short days.
The next collection of photos are of our drive from Texas to Kansas. A drive that would have normally taken 8 hours we made in two days. We left around 1pm Sunday and arrived 3pm Monday.

Sorting and packing glass
Everything was almost packed...
...time to head out
This was part of the line of traffic that we hit just over the TX/OK border...The same traffic that left us stuck for an hour and half in 95+ degree weather.
Our beloved POPs. Our mid-trip stop on many many trips...but our first time as a married couple.

My superman in the shadow...

Half of our caravan...
We were sooo tried....that was before we drove at least another two hours to where we stopped for the night.

One of my favorite stops... Where I got my military ID :)

We FINALLY made it to Kansas...

...And got to load more boxes...yay
